The Inspiring Inclusive Museum Heritage Project

This was an innovative project , with funding from Scottish Government,which created greater opportunities for the African and ethnic Minority Communities to access and engage with the Scottish Museum sector, leading to 4 trainees from ethnic Minority communities to successfully achieve the SVQ level 3 in Museum and Galleries Practice; over 80 staff within museums in both Glasgow and Edinburgh were trained on equality and diversity by NSI, and over 400 ethnic minority participants were empowered to engage and access services within the Museum sector.
