Through Comic Relief funding, Jambo Radio has supported young people of African and Caribbean heritage in Scotland to develop skills in broadcast media, communication, and digital content.
Participants gained hands-on experience in radio production and journalism while building confidence, connections, and a sense of belonging. Many have progressed into volunteering roles, further education, and continued media engagement.
The programme creates a safe, inclusive space that connects young people with community organisations, empowering them to share their voices and explore future opportunities.
